Spend Memorial Day Weekend at the McCloud Mushroom Festival

We are heading up to the Mushroom Festival this Memorial Day weekend. Held every Memorial Day weekend at the base of Mt. Shasta in the historic lumber town of McCloud, the McCloud Mushroom and Music Festival celebrates the proliferation of wild mushroom hunting that occurs every spring in and around McCloud. With nearly 70 artisan, craft and food vendors, McCloud Draws around 8,00 people for this awesome 2-day event. During this festival, you can enjoy mushroom foraging with the “King of Mushrooms” Todd Spanier, and music from local and well-known bands.
The weekend will also include a Wine & Cheese Walk on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. The walk will include six local wineries, as well as Cask and Cleaver Charcuterie Co.
Schedule of Events:
Saturday, May 28: 10 am-6pm – live music, mushroom vendors, wine tasting, special mushroom delicacies, cooking demonstrations, workshops and educational booths on mushroom harvesting.

2-3:30 pm – Lion of the North
4-7 pm – 3 Mile Road
